Extending on from the previous, this post will feature scholarly and academic sources on the Vaporwave art movement and attempt to delve into how the history of art has influenced the aesthetic of this movement. I aim to use this knowledge to inform the way I execute my art series, particularly regarding the subjects included e.g. random to recognisable subjects in the pieces in order for them to remain relevant to my Wollongong audience.
