Last time I wrote an ~ a e s t h e t i c ~ blog post, I was focusing solely on researching glitch, cyberpunk, and vaporwave aesthetics – the mechanics behind the art forms, how they came about, and why people enjoy them so much. I have since #FEFO’d and realized that digital aesthetics may not be quite in depth enough for me to do large amounts of research on alone. I still plan on conducting this research, but I have decided to expand it into the mechanics of Instagram and Twitter as well.
