This post entails a brief introduction into the realm of Surveillance, specifically in Australia, and its importance within society. Surveillance is detrimental to state, societal and individual security and protection, as it enables society to carry on safely and efficiently. Without surveillance consequences such as banking hacking, traffic control hijacking and hacking , airport security, train command centre, national intelligence software with state secrets could be hacked, all these realms, as well as many more, are ensured through surveillance, without constant monitoring and protective measures, terrorists, anarchy groups and state enemies could override them causing mayhem and destruction. Although a problem and ambiguous concept that is essential to security and protection, it warrants many boundaries being blurred and crossed.
