One major contribution to the BCM325 “Future Cultures” that we were introduced to for the first eight weeks of class was live tweeting. This was achieved by analysing a different screenings weekly of science fiction films ranging from anime to cult favourites like The Matrix. This allowed students to interact on the #BCM325 hashtag and create a wider understanding of the weekly topics we were studying. By the end of the eight weeks, I was quite comfortable interacting with other students about the weekly topics and sharing ideas.
