Robots are Friends, not Food

The notion that robots are going to take our jobs, and everything will be automated is a noted conversation, specifically when looking at the short term, but what about the long term? It is estimated that robots have taken over 90% of the jobs that humans used to do. It is estimated that by 2030, approximately 800 million people will have their jobs taken over by robots. But what about working alongside these robots?

Thus, my DA for BCM325 is to explore how A.I will compliment human activity in jobs  in the medium and long term. We have an abundance of information about how we’re progressing short term, but has long term become a factor in many peoples minds yet?

My inspiration for this not only drew from the theme of the films we are currently analysing, but from the week 3 lecture content, focusing on future thinking.
