As detailed in my presentation, the direction of my Digital Artefact has changed significantly since I first presented my pitch. My current thesis is:
‘How can we retain the role of culture and identity in language as it develops going into the future?’
As Eleonora Masini argues, we should be actively working towards a pluralistic future in which we embrace our diversity, rather than focusing on the present and in this case, trying to create a single universal language for a future that we haven’t yet reached and can’t truly foresee.
