Jess is creating a digital artefact that will examine the ways by which the short, medium and long-term future of “dead” analogue media and mediums (with focus on film and instant photography) are affected by time. As such the target of her piece is to introduce these formats to Gen Z via Tik Tok. I think it’s evidently clear that Jess has gone above and beyond with her research, hence why I didn’t offer her any further links. As I believe it would have just been made the whole thing convoluted. So I hence offered her to perhaps readjust the way she examined generations, as there is a small percentage within Gen Z who were exposed to analogue media significantly through their youth.
