‘The Future Digital Marketing’ is a 4-part blog series that explores the future of digital marketing on the social media platform. As technology evolves, consumers generally rely on mobile phones and the Internet to get information. Consumer practice and behaviour have changed due to the pandemic. Companies must keep up with the market’s speed and follow and know the consumers’ demands in order to obtain popularity and recognition, as well as a leading position in the industry. Social media is a popular mobile application. Some businesses think that digital social media has a huge potential to develop their business. In this project, I aimed to look at the present and future of social media marketing and create a clear and insightful series of blog posts for business and marketers to know the future of marketing. BCM325 – Live Tweeting Self-Reflection (W6-W12)

Time has flown by, and the semester is coming to a close. We’ve been viewing and live-tweeting a lot of cyberpunk and dystopian films this semester, which has led us to think about the future evolution of technology and societies. All of these films attracted me not just because of their clever narratives and amazing CGI, but also because they made me think about the relationship between future technology and creativity, as well as how cyberpunk films influence our conceptions of the future. From weeks 6 through 12, I’ll talk about my live-tweeting experience and involvement, as well as my reflections.

Week 6: Blade Runner 2049

The lecture topic of week 6 is about futurists. I felt Blade Runner 2049’s brutalist architecture was great, with futuristic finishes and details. All of these incredible structures will have one thing in common: they will always look not just futuristic, but as if…

BCM325 – DA Beta Peers Review & Self-Reflection

In this blog , I was invited to provide feedback on three of my classmates’ beta presentations for their Digital Artefact projects.

Pitch 1: Tobias – “Where is the future taking you?”

The first pitch I watched was Tobias’s video. He’s writing a blog series about his university experience, both social and academic, and he’s decided to create student and industry profiles by interviewing Uni students and industry experts. He aims to provide a valuable source for teachers and students, especially for students who are new to university to get a true and truthful perspective from a student.

As he stated in his video, he wants to create 10-13 profiles and 2-4 industry profiles, which is a massive workload, and I recommend that he cut it in half to 5 profiles and 5 industry profiles so that he can have a deeper conversation with the student and industry expert about their…

BCM325 -The future of social media in marketing ( DA BETA)

In my idea pitch, I expanded on my initial idea. My Digital Artefact is a series of blogs post on WordPress which talking about the predictions about the future of social media marketing in 10-20 years and and compare the social media marketing on Instagram and TikTok in 2019 (Before the covid and current).

To be honest, I am a little bit behind the schedule, therefore I want to cut down some workload. I decided to look into the social media marketing on Instagram and TikTok rather to experience the current social media marketing also one of my peer told me since the market is constantly evolving, just simply calculating the efficiency of new approaches can be difficult. As a result, I’d like to simplify things and adhere to the #FIST principle, so I’ll look at TikTok and Instagram social media ads and compare the two and see what’s changed…

BCM325 – Live Tweeting Self-Reflection (W1-W5)

Every Thursday afternoon for the last several weeks, I have been live-tweeting a viewing of sci-fi and kind of cyberpunk’s films. In this blog, I need to write a critical evaluation of my own live-tweeting contributions.

To be honest, at the beginning of this class, I really don’t know how Live-tweeting will be run and start, it is somehow new to me. It is a challenging task for me because I can’t while watching a movie and doing another thing at the same time, but I think after a few weeks of practices I have improved. The possibilities are absolutely endless when it comes to trying something new, that allows us to expand our minds and learn—both about said new thing, and about ourselves. BCM325 – DA Pitch Comment Review & Reflection

As the article (Marsh, 2018) mentions that, feedback gives people an opportunity to look at themselves from a different perspective and It helps us see how others perceive our works, therefore, giving and receive better feedback helps us to inspire better performance in our project.

For my assessment in BCM 325 – Future Cultures, I was assigned work to review and give feedback on three of my classmates’ pitch presentations for their Digital Artefact project. The feedback I give and the comment that I had received from my classmates is useful for my ongoing projects because it told what I must do to fix and improve.

Pitch 1: Asher – The uses botnets, bots and troll farms

Asher’s PItch:

The first pitch I watched is Asher’s video, Asher want to produce his DA about the future of information, communication and the exploitation of the general population through the use…
